Another big recap, chunk 1

Day 16: Sunday SUNday SUNDAAAY .....er, Friday.
Avignon in the morning/afternoon. I consider it the Paris of Provence, if for no other reason, the fact that there was a HUGE Hermès store right on the square next to the carousel I really wanted to ride (but wasn't open yet). I went to H&M and got a great big fur hat, the kind I've wanted for years. for 9€, so not bad at all.

(From later that night. It's Light Brown...and that's Melissa, Brandon, and Dominique, Left to Right.)
Anyway, for lunch I went to McDonald's--THAT'S RIGHT, I DID. I got some Italy something Sandwich that you can't get in the states. The fries were kinda awful, but the sandwich was AMAZING. Some sort of thin ranch-esque sauce, with seared meat and a ciabatta croissant bread thing. Anyway, after that, I wandered around, found an art shop and a GORGEOUS park by the tourism center.

Pardon the awfully-pieced Panorama. Photoshop automater, what can I say?

Following that, I went back to the center pavillion around 15:30, and we were leaving at 17:00. What to do but people-watch? I saw some street performers, a lot of dogs, and one particularly talented violin player. She played a good variety, and it was a nice way to just sit in the square and absorb the atmosphere. Maybe you'll recognize this tune, even though I missed the first seven seconds or so.

Shortly after that, back on the vans, where I didn't IMMEDIATELY pass out like on the way there, but towards the end I nodded off for a few. Back in town, I finally did my laundry around dinnertime and then we went to Studio One (AKA the Photo Lounge) for chilling out and picture-taking with an old camera film format...including the picture up top with my new hat.

Day 17: Saturday

I don't remember what happened Saturday. I slept too late...took a shower? Had dinner...and hung out with people?

Day 18: Sunday SUNday SUNDAY (for real)

Slept too late AGAIN. Wandered around the village, did some computer work, had dinner, and watched "Blow" and "The Fifth Element" in Studio One with Nick, Kelsey, Devin, Brandon, Melissa, and Dominique.

Day 19: Monday!

Class. Nothing exciting for Current Trends and Forecasting, except presenting some articles we had written as though we worked at a magazine of our choosing and showing a project for colors that we've been working on. My given theme was Patagonia, the southernmost portion of South America, which includes Argentina and the lower part of Chile. Very exciting, but I had no clue what it was before then. Christopher liked mine, I think, as he had very few suggestions for changes. Afterwards, just lounging around Lacoste for the day, with dinner and not much else.

Yes! Pictures! All good things, yes? Sounds like a really nice time. Hope there's more video, perhaps featuring you, or people you know? Are we taking requests?
