Another big recap, chunk 3

Day 23: Friday Freeday? Fluffy Fun, Finally...For a bit.

Missed the bus to Apt, oops. No more cash for me this weekend, I guess. We had a Business of Fashion test at 3:30p, which I think I did pretty well on, but time will tell. Nine people have left for the weekend in total, four to Italy and five to Amsterdam (including my roommate so...room to myself!). After the test, It rained and there was a BEAUTIFUL rainbow (pictures taken but none uploaded yet, so I'll stick them in in the coming days). Then, the rain picked up, but thankfully died out right at the time of the Gallery showing in Lacoste. GREAT little hors d'œuvre things. I ate...fifty? Sad but true. She was a photographer, so there were some lovely images of the Luberon valley (where we are).

At dinner we had crazy awful meat things, and then I curled my hair for fun because Brie did hers. I know, I'm dull. (no pictures really though). Believe me, it was well-received, though. After a birthday amazing lemonade-thing from Charlotte at the Bar down the hill, I headed to the Quarry for the weird Formal Party thing some students had thrown together, which really consisted of--what else?--emo music and drinking and altogether foolish shenanigans. It was ok for a bit, but got old after about two and a half hours, and after being stranded up top without a flashlight because someone borrowed it for less-than-respectable activities. I got home and had drama with my roommates because I had hit my limit at 00:30 (12:30a here...cool, huh?) and they were still going at half past 2. I cleaned my room though and finally folded last week's laundry, now that it's almost time to do the wash again.

Day 24: Simple Saturday

Ignoring the roommates who were still asleep when I got up to take my shower at 15:00...and when I left for the computer lab at 16:00. Dinner's coming up soon, and since it's Saturday, I'm sure something will be going on tonight. I'll get those pictures of the rainbow up, though, and then maybe go back through and fill in the pictures for Versailles and stuff? Or I might just make a new post. Either way, you'll know in a few days, after I finish the work for my Tuesday presentation in Treasures of Provence (on games and hobbies of the early romans in Provence), following my Business of Fashion midterm. Yes, already midterm time. Wow.

Happy Birthday (ou, bonne annee), mon petit singe magnifique et beau! Je t'aime! Je t'adore! What a wonderful experience, having your 21st birthday in FRANCE! You are one lucky monkey. If you'll check to see if you gave me your correct mailing address, someone might actually send you something. (MiMi sent you $$$ which I will put in your account.)

La grandmere et le grandpere want your blog address so they can see what you're doing on the Continent. Is it OK with you if I send it to them?

Je tu (miss?)! Et les chats, aussi, mais oui. Celebrate!
